How did you get started growing houseplants?
My houseplant journey started as a child with my Mom and Grandma always having a house full of houseplants including Pothos and African violets. My first apartment had maybe one or two plants at the most but nothing too major. In April 2008, I built my first serious plant collection and I've been growing plants ever since! Currently I'm curating my third plant collection and its by far my favorite mini jungle ever!
How many plants do you grow right now?
Right now I'm growing around 145 houseplants. That amount fluctuates often depending on if I give a pot away or add another four new plants to the collection!
What's your favorite plant genus?
My favorite houseplant genus is Epipremnum; with my favorite variety being Pothos! I grow 16 pots of Pothos at the moment.
